MEAN GIRLS TEEN EDITION

AUDITION INFO

To audition for our production, you must be between the ages of 14 and 18.

Fill out a digital audition form here: https://www.theaterforms.com/DramaGroup/MeanGirls/auditionform/

Auditions will be on May 15th between 5 and 9 pm; 20 auditioners per 60-minute time slot.

Callbacks will be on May 17th at 5:00 pm

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS: There is a time slot listed for Friday, May 16th. This is for video submissions only.

Rehearsals will begin June 9th and will run Monday through Friday from 3 to 5.  As we get closer to tech week, some days may run longer (no later than 6).

Performances are July 18 at 7:30, July 19 at 2 and 7:30, and July 20 at 2.

There is a $100 participation fee to be in this production.  PLEASE do not let this discourage you from auditioning if that is not within your budget.  We can discuss what your options are.

Due to the content of this show, the characters of Regina, Gretchen, Karen, Cady, and Aaron will be highly preferred to be played by an actor who is at least 16.

Bring in 32 bars (a minute to a minute and 15 seconds) of a song in the style of the show.  Please do not sing from the show.  There will not be an accompanist at auditions so please email a track for your song to actorthomasmcmahon@gmail.com either precut to your specific cut or with a time to start, with the subject line “Your name - Mean Girls”.

There will be a dance audition that you will have to learn via the videos provided.  Please come with the dance as performance-ready as possible as we will not be teaching the dance at auditions.

If we need you for callbacks, a list will be sent out with the materials we need you to prepare.  Not receiving a callback does not mean you are not cast.

If you have any questions, please email the director at actorthomasmcmahon@gmail.com
